UK Academy Coordinator Location: Glasgow Hybrid: 3 days required on site
The OME Skills Academy aims to deliver an exceptional experience for the Early Careers community and futureproof the skills in OME. The Optronic & Missile Electronics (OME) UK College Coordinator & Engagement Lead will support talent development and engagement within the OME College team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing business administration for the College.
- Partnering with the OME UK Head of College and College Lead to deliver the Skills & Knowledge Hub.
- Collaborating with the OME BL Academy team on strategy.
- Driving the OME engagement plan with HR partners.
- Providing business admin support and managing College enquiries.
- Coordinating Training Calendar with leads and trainers.
- Assisting with events, onboarding, and inductions.
- Tracking and reporting on initiatives and KPIs, and producing records.
- Fostering relationships with partners and internal teams, and promoting success stories on social media.
- Leading projects and ensuring alignment with Academy activities.
- Supporting employee recognition and engagement events.
- Working with Internal Communications to boost engagement.

It would be advantageous if currently held; however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment. To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
