Join Thales as a Customer Asset Manager to lead the management and compliance of Customer Assets, particularly Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), across our Cheadle and Templecombe sites. You'll play a key role in customer audits, drive asset accountability and compliance, and deliver improvements that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Under Water Systems (UWS) Our purpose is to be the leading provider of underwater sensors and decision superiority, helping navies across the world keep our friends, families and all of us safe. We cover four sectors: Mine Counter Measures, Anti-Submarine warfare, Services and Future Capabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a small team and inspire exemplary behaviours.
- Apply a methodical, disciplined approach to Inventory Management and Customer Asset accountability.
- Lead improvements in process & transactional accountability.
- Develop key measures to support Customer Asset accountability.
- Develop, implement and maintain a self-audit process to improve GFE compliance.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate fully in the day-to-day physical and transactional movements of Customer Assets.
Ideal Experience & Skills:
- Knowledge of Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory practices.
- Experienced, with a demonstrated record in delivering compliant processes and upholding Quality Assurance in all aspects of the supply chain.
- Effective communicator and confident in dealing with all levels of management.
- Experience using Oracle ERP system (the Manufacturing and/or Inventory Management areas of the system).
- Manage a small team and deliver key goals and objectives.
Security Clearance Requirement: UK Eyes Only:
Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires you to be a UK National and achieve Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment. If approved by the MOD, a dual national from a non-ITAR country may be considered.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
