Thales Under Water Systems (UWS), have a great opportunity within the ASW (Anti Submarine Warfare) finance team for a Business Controller. You will work to drive the efficiency and delivery within the team and provide financial expertise and insight into bids, research and development activities and multi-year budget processes.

You will be responsible for providing timely financial management information and analysis for projects and business delivery to the business in a concise, clear and efficient manner for all levels of seniority.

This role requires SC Clearance in which you will need to satisfy the criteria for application, please refer to the UKSV website for more information.

About You

You will be a qualified accountant with a professional accounting qualification or be part qualified and studying towards related qualification e.g. CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent), or have proven relevant experience within a financial environment ideally within Defence. You should have some experience operating as a Business Controller or equivalent, working on complex programmes, products and services in a technical environment covering development and production activities. You will be a team player who can interface at all levels within an engineering and manufacturing company.
