We're looking for an Industrial Supplier Conformity Co-Ordinator to join our Belfast team. In this key role, you'll oversee supplier quality and compliance, manage non-conformities, and drive improvements with the support of the business that reduce manufacturing risk and strengthen our supply chain.
Key tasks/Responsibilities:
- Monitor & drive performance indicators for his or her sector.
- Suggest improvements to reduce manufacturing risks.
- Monitor conformity of purchased items (using incoming inspection results) and follow up on plans to recover non-conformities.
- Apply procedures for the delegation of control to suppliers.
- Monitor and optimise entry and exit controls between the suppliers and Thales and ensure they are consistent.
- Monitor return of defective parts to the supplier and monitor the processing of non-conformities with the supplier.
- Liaise with procurement to obtain the status of returned parts and the processing of their non-conformity in view to consolidating visibility & monitoring progress.
- Consolidate monthly reports to drive improvements.
- Remediation of supplier non-conformities.
- Alert to non-conformity detected in incoming inspection/production.
- Ensure the non-conformity with the supplier/subcontractor (tracking the return & handling) is processed within an acceptable timeframe in relation to production requirements.
- Support implementing control measures (traceability, sorting, etc.).
- Participate in supplier performance monitoring and analysis committees.
- Monitor non-conformities, analyse causes and provide feedback.
- Contribute to the consistency of technical files, both internally (production, control, etc.) and externally with the supplier/service provider.

- Monitor performance indicators.
- Review inspection results and validate First Article Acceptances (FAIs).
- Manage non-conformities: notify, track returns, and oversee corrective actions.
- Collaborate across teams and with suppliers to ensure compliance and quality.
- Consolidate supplier performance data and support continuous improvement.
- Optimise entry/exit controls and supplier quality processes.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or production support.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, Excel.
- Ability to influence, problem-solve.
- Methodical, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong ethical mindset, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Travel to suppliers off site 25 -50%.
