Can you stay calm, professional and personable in a fast-paced environment? Were looking for a dedicated and professional Front Office Manager who is skilled in management and organisation. The full-time role includes overall responsibility for the front desk, front of house porters, night team and reservations. It requires confidence, communication skills, a friendly personality and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Youll need to be flexible about working hours, including weekends. Excellent personal presentation is also essential. Its a fast-paced environment, so youll need to be able to stay calm under pressure and multi-task effectively. Youll also need to be able to anticipate guests needs, deal with their enquiries and requests, and pass these on to colleagues if necessary. With overall responsibility for the operation of the front office department, youll manage the group and individual reservations processes, and review availability and revenue strategy day by day. A full knowledge of all the hotels amenities is also required, so that you can upsell. Youll also train and develop the team. Using strong admin skills, youll manage the teams shifts, handle the departments accounts, and liaise with other departments to ensure rooms are always properly prepared for new guests.
