We are currently seeking dedicated HGV Class 2 Drivers to handle the delivery of food products across London and the surrounding areas. Operating 7.2T and 26T vehicles (outside London), you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional service directly to our clients. Please note: This role requires flexibility to complete one planned night out per week on a rotating schedule. As this is a multi-drop role involving the manual handling and unloading of stock, a good level of physical fitness is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliveries & Customer Service: Safely deliver food products to customer premises, communicating effectively regarding schedules or delays.
  • Manual Handling: Load and unload items securely. This role involves handballing stock into customer sites, including lifting up and down stairs.
  • Vehicle Care: Conduct daily walk-around checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and promptly report any maintenance issues.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to tachograph regulations and driver's hours.
  • Inventory Admin: Keep accurate records of deliveries to assist with inventory management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Licencing: Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tacho Card.
  • Experience: Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and heavy lifting/manual handling.
  • Insurance Criteria: Must be 25 years of age or older (due to fleet insurance restrictions).
  • Licence Standing: A clean driving licence is preferred, though a maximum of 3 penalty points will be accepted.
  • Attributes: A proactive, problem-solving approach with the adaptability to navigate busy London routes.
