THA Football Centres are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and ambitious Lead Football Coaches to join our growing coaching team across Leeds.
As a Lead Coach, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality football sessions that are fun, engaging and purposeful, while helping players develop technically, physically, socially and psychologically.
We're particularly looking for coaches who bring energy, personality and presence to their sessions and can create an environment where children are excited to learn and play.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead high-quality football sessions across THA programmes and age groups.
- Deliver sessions in line with the THA coaching curriculum.
- Engage and motivate groups of children through your personality, energy and coaching style.
- Adapt sessions to different ages, abilities and learning needs.
- Build positive relationships with players and parents.
- Manage groups confidently and maintain a safe, positive environment.
- Set up and pack away equipment.
- Reflect on sessions and act on coaching feedback.
- Represent THA professionally at all times.

What we’re looking for
- Previous experience coaching or working with children.
- Strong communication and group-management skills.
- A confident, energetic and engaging personality.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Passionate about football and developing young players.
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous development.
- FA coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
