Role Description

A hybrid role based in London & Suffolk, (with travel as required with flexibility for some home-working). We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Reporting Manager to join a major programme delivery team and play a pivotal role in transforming project data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making. Working closely with the Reporting Lead, you will oversee reporting activities across large, complex projects, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate, timely, and actionable information. This is an exciting opportunity for a reporting and data analytics professional with experience of Data Lakes, ETL processes, and the Microsoft Power Platform to join a high-performing team and influence project outcomes through data-led decision making.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the collection, analysis, and presentation of project data through reports, dashboards, graphs, and visualisations.
  • Work with IT and Digital teams to improve data availability and accessibility through Data Lake environments.
  • Utilise ETL processes and Databricks to prepare data for reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Own the quality, consistency, and visual standards of reporting outputs across the project.
  • Implement Power Apps solutions to improve data capture, workflow efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and predictive insights.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls, PMO, Digital teams, supply chain partners, and key stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, validated, and aligned to project governance standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement in reporting processes, data management, and visualisation techniques.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a confident and analytical professional who can combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Skills & Experience: ESSENTIAL

  • Proactive in sourcing and collating reporting updates.
  • Degree in a numerate discipline, HND, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience working within large-scale, complex project environments.
  • Strong understanding of Data Lakes, data extraction, integration, and transformation processes.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps.
  • Data Analytics and/or Data Science capability.
  • Experience designing and improving reporting systems, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience operating within large corporate or programme delivery environments.
  • Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on when required.
  • Exposure to major infrastructure, engineering, construction, or programme delivery projects.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • System Administration certifications.
  • Experience working in multicultural or international project environments.

Who You Are:

  • You bring more than just project control skills—you bring the right behaviours that align with how we show up every day.
  • You really care about helping others succeed.

  • You’re a critical thinker who asks smart questions and seeks to understand before acting.
  • You’re digitally literate, adaptable, and comfortable working with modern tools.
  • You’re curious, proactive, and always looking to improve.
  • You’re credible, authentic, and can influence others with integrity.
  • You’re emotionally intelligent, self-aware, and respectful in how you show up.
  • You bring innovative thinking and don’t default to the obvious.
  • You focus on results and optimisation, not just activity.
  • You’re collaborative—you don’t sit in silence, and you make space for others.
  • You’re accountable and own your outcomes.
  • You balance resilience with compassion—kindness matters here.
  • You’re the kind of person who likes to go above and beyond.
