Role Description
Our client is seeking an experienced P6 Planner to support the delivery of a high-profile refurbishment programme at a secure site in Westminster. This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex and challenging project, working alongside an experienced project team on a significant heritage and refurbishment scheme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting on Primavera P6 programmes across multiple phases of the project, including:
- Heritage and conservation works
- Demolition and strip-out activities
- Internal reconfiguration and refurbishment
This is an initial 3-month contract based in Westminster. Due to the secure nature of the project, candidates must hold CTC or SC clearance.
You will play a key part in driving programme certainty, providing schedule analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting project stakeholders with accurate planning and reporting information.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated Primavera P6 project programmes.
- Produce detailed construction schedules covering refurbishment, demolition, conservation, and fit-out activities.
- Monitor project progress and undertake programme updates using regular site and stakeholder inputs.
- Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, delays, and mitigation measures.
- Prepare programme reports, dashboards, and progress updates for project leadership.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and supply chain partners to ensure accurate planning information is maintained.
- Support change management and programme impact assessments.
- Facilitate planning workshops and programme review meetings.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Planner on construction projects.
- Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency.
- Experience planning demolition, strip-out, structural alteration and refurbishment works within heritage or listed buildings.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and programme controls.
- Ability to analyse complex schedules and communicate findings to a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- Security clearance (CTC or SC)
