Role Overview: To provide comprehensive field-based electronic and electro-mechanical engineering support to customers in the UK installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting equipment at customer sites, acting as the primary technical representative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installations and Commissioning
- Provide mobile engineering support to the company installations in the field.
- Setting up new equipment at customer locations according to specification.
- Carry out first line training following installation.
- Maintenance and Repair
- Carry out maintenance and repair.
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- React to faults and incidents relating to equipment throughout the region.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Carry out diagnostic testing.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Complete necessary paperwork/IT systems use for adherence to customer support Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Effectively communicate with colleagues in the office and in the field.
- Customer Relations
- Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and support.
- Building positive relationships with customers, providing training and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance
- Adhering strictly to company and site-specific health and safety regulations.
Person Specification:
- Electrical & Mechanical Engineering experience within a field-based role is essential.
- Ability to fault find with an attention to detail and a determination to succeed.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A desire to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A self-starter, who is conscientious and trustworthy in dealing with revenue-generating products.
- A drive and passion for continuous improvement of company products.

- PC Literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Prepared to visit UK Head Office based in Doncaster as required for meetings/training.
