We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to support us in our mission of communicating effectively through our online presence and help us expand, engage and optimise our social channels. We’re a multi-award-winning organisation, passionate about supporting families of children with additional needs – and we need someone equally passionate about making our message shine online! What you\’ll be doing… * Managing Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube – this is your domain! * Growing our audience and boosting engagement – you know how to make it happen. * Keeping a social-first mindset – you instinctively see the best way to make content thrive. * Writing all content – from captions to post copy, making everything feel fresh and engaging. * Monitoring our socials during work hours and collaborating on out-of-hours cover. * Optimising our channels – you really know what makes an algorithm tick! * Working from our strategy (crafted by Sunshine Vicky, who is a genius at this stuff) but having full creative freedom within it. Who you are * You’re a social media whizz with hands-on experience managing business accounts. * You have a deep understanding of content trends, analytics, and engagement tactics. * You live and breathe growth & optimisation – KPIs excite you! * You have brilliant writing skills and can adapt your tone to suit our audience. * You’re confident working independently and owning the social space. * You’re happy to be office-based in Derby – we love collaboration and a buzzing work environment! * You’re knowledgeable – you’ve done this before and know your stuff.
