Hybrid working available once training complete! We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our growing Trade B2B sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, proactively developing accounts, and playing a key part in driving sales performance. You’ll work closely with both trade customers and the field sales team, ensuring excellent service, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the wider commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact prospective and existing trade customers through outbound calls to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding customer needs, timelines, and material requirements.
- Manage day-to-day customer engagement, providing timely support and tailored solutions.
- Identify and act on opportunities to increase account value and customer retention.
- Accurately update and manage customer data and sales pipeline stages within the CRM system.
- Work closely with the field sales team, sharing insights, coordinating visits, and following up on opportunities.
- Collaborate internally, sharing knowledge and best practices across the sales team.
- Report on sales activity, pipeline progress, KPIs, and customer feedback to the Sales Director.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
About You
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role (trade or B2B experience advantageous).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident working independently while also contributing positively within a team.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in your approach.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Target-driven, motivated, and focused on delivering results.
