Job Description
The Role\\nAs a Construction Sourcing Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of delivering complex sourcing projects across the construction category, working with Government Departments, Local Authorities, and Public Sector Agencies. You'll act as a trusted advisor, driving commercial value, regulatory compliance, and innovative procurement strategies.\\nThis is a client-facing, hybrid role where you’ll collaborate with internal teams—including legal, commercial, and operations—to deliver best-in-class procurement services that align with client goals.\\nKey Responsibilities\\n * Lead high-value, complex construction procurement projects\\n * Advise on routes to market, contracting models (JCT, NEC), and tendering strategies\\n * Conduct market research and supplier analysis to inform sourcing decisions\\n * Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and key suppliers\\n * Negotiate favourable commercial terms, ensuring best practice and compliance\\n * Support delivery of social value and sustainability objectives through procurement\\n * Collaborate with internal teams across legal, finance, operations, and implementation\\nWhat we are looking for\\n * Solid understanding of the construction industry – e.g. Quantity Surveyor, PM, EA or CA background\\n * Familiar with standard forms of building contracts (particularly JCT)\\n * Knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023\\n * Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and supplier management skills\\n * Passion for delivering value, innovation, and continuous improvement\\nSkills and experience\\n * Educated to degree level\\n * Experience working with or within public sector Contracting Authorities\\n * MCIPS, RICS or relevant professional qualification (desirable)\\nAbout Constellia\\nConstellia – Neutral Vendor solutions for Goods, Services, Technology and Works.\\nEstablished in 2007, Constellia is one of Britain's fastest-growing private companies and a leading Neutral Vendor Managed Service Provider in the UK.
