An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Manager to join a well-established technology and engineering business. This role will lead a team of internal service coordinators and UK field-based engineers to ensure exceptional service delivery across to private and public sector customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving service performance, improving processes, supporting customers, and managing day-to-day operational activities within the service function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting a team of field service engineers and service support staff
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery
  • Co-ordinating engineer workloads, scheduling and resource planning
  • Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting service operations, escalations and customer communication
  • Working closely with internal departments including operations, sales and technical teams
  • Reviewing processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience within a Service Manager or Service Operations role
  • Experience managing engineers or technical service teams
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A hands-on and proactive management style
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Engineering, technical or technology sector experience would be advantageous
