We are working with a house builder to recruit a Technical Coordinator for the Eastern division in Cambridge. The sites will be located in Bedford, Huntingdon and Bury St Edmunds.
Summary:
The Technical Coordinator supports the Technical Manager in overseeing all technical aspects of residential development projects from start to finish. Key responsibilities include managing design consultants, coordinating utilities and warranties, discharging planning and regulatory conditions, and supporting site and sales teams. The role requires experience with architectural drawings, housing developments, and a sound understanding of building regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience in technical coordination, ideally within volume housebuilding
- HNC/HND or degree in a technical field
- Strong knowledge of building techniques, CDM, and regulations
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems
- Full UK driving licence and CSCS card
