Reporting to the Group Planning Director and working closely with the Regional Technical Team, the role includes assessing land opportunities and managing the planning process from cradle to grave for both strategic and immediate sites. Responsibilities include developing planning strategies, submitting and managing planning applications, discharging planning conditions and S106 obligations, and coordinating external consultants and key stakeholders such as Local Planning Authorities. The role also supports land bids, manages planning budgets, and ensures compliance with relevant policies, legislation and procedures.
The ideal candidate will hold an RTPI-accredited degree with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally as a Chartered Member of the RTPI or working towards chartership. You will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while working collaboratively to deliver high standards.
