Core Responsibilities:

  • Support senior land team members in identifying both short- and long-term land acquisition opportunities across the region and nationally.
  • Assist with desktop research and site evaluations, reviewing planning potential and development feasibility.
  • Help prepare financial appraisals, viability assessments, and bid documents.
  • Aid in negotiations with landowners, agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support, such as compiling spreadsheets, correspondence, and assisting with filing systems.
  • Support site visits, gathering data and feedback for analysis.

Candidate Profile:

  • Recent graduate or final-year student with a degree in areas such as Town & Country Planning / Urban Planning, Geography, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related business discipline with a property focus.
  • Basic understanding of the UK planning system.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and driven to learn and grow in the property sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional and personable in stakeholder engagement.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage varied tasks effectively.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities; adept at using Excel and other standard IT tools.
  • Full UK driving licence required (to conduct site visits).
  • Some exposure to the property/development sector, relevant internships, or work experience, while not essential, is advantageous.
