An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Layout Designer (Masterplanner) to join one of the UK’s leading housebuilders. Working within the Masterplanning team, the role involves producing commercially viable residential layouts that meet national and local standards while maintaining high-quality, innovative design principles.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Group and Regional Design & Technical teams, alongside departments including Sales & Marketing, Procurement and IT, to deliver outstanding housing developments.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating hand-drawn and finished planning layouts
- Presenting proposals to stakeholders
- Promoting strong urban design principles both internally and externally
Applicants should have previous experience in residential masterplanning or housing layout design, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong project and people management abilities, HNC/D-level qualifications, and a full UK driving licence.
