Construction Surveyor Estimator

We are proud to be representing a well established, privately owned developer, seeking a Cost and Bonus Surveyor to join their team. Cost and Bonus Surveyor A leading privately owned house builder renowned for constructing high-quality homes across the East and West Midlands, is seeking a Cost and Bonus Surveyor to join our dynamic Commercial Team. Reporting to the Cost and Bonus Manager, this is a key role for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who will work closely with site management teams and trade operatives to ensure accurate measurement, recording of completed works, and timely payment processing. Input data into the payroll system and reconcile final figures. Estimating & Rate Analysis: Report on budget variances with detailed analysis. Collaborate with the commercial team to support the site budget setup process. Solid understanding of construction practices across all trades. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings. Strong communication skills for effective coordination between site and office teams. Exceptional organisational, planning, and time management abilities. Commercial acumen to identify and drive operational efficiencies. Excellent numeracy and IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel and Word). Full UK driving licence is essential. This role is ideal for individuals from a Quantity Surveying background (preferably with an HNC qualification). However, we also welcome applicants with site management or trade experience who are seeking a transition into a commercial role.
