The Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in quantity surveying and gain hands-on experience across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior surveyors with cost planning, estimating, and budget control
  • Measuring quantities and assisting with bills of quantities
  • Preparing and issuing tender documentation
  • Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Conducting site visits and liaising with contractors and clients
  • Maintaining accurate project records and reports
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

About You:

  • Degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QS software is a bonus
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally
