The Role
As an Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the residential team from planning through to construction.
Working closely with Architects, Technologists, and consultants, you will produce high-quality technical drawings and construction information while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in line with current Building Regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages.
- Support the delivery of residential projects across all RIBA work stages.
- Prepare planning, Building Regulations, and construction documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
- Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate technical information and resolve design and construction queries.
- Attend site visits and project meetings where required.
- Assist in delivering projects on time and within budget.
About You
- Experience working as an Architectural Technician, ideally within the residential sector.
- Proficient in Auto CAD, with Revit experience being highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
- Excellent technical drawing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
