The Role
We are looking for a natural relationship builder with a keen interest in industrial technologies and a relentless attitude to business-to-business (B2B) selling. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will work remotely across your assigned region, travelling between customer manufacturing sites to:
- Drive business development, lead generation and sales growth within your region.
- Visit customers to assess requirements, determine potential solutions and demonstrate ancillary machinery while building long-term partnerships.
- Provide clear, accurate communication and data to the technical team for each project.
- Maintain ongoing customer communication to ensure excellent support is provided.
- Manage CRM updates for opportunities, contacts, companies and meetings.
- Stay informed of new products, technologies and market developments.
Typical Week
Monday–Thursday – Customer site visits, solution assessments, relationship-building
Friday – CRM planning, lead follow-ups, internal technical discussions, planning for the following weeks
This is a field-based, remote role that combines autonomy, technical discussion and commercial negotiation.

- Initial phase: Learn our product portfolio & industries served, support senior sales colleagues, manage smaller opportunities independently.
- Growth phase: Take on larger capital projects, key accounts and regional sales planning.

- Clean UK driving licence with willingness to travel 4–5 days per week, including occasional overnight stays
- Good IT skills (MS Office, databases)
- Desire to work in consultative sales — technical, multi-month projects involving engineers, production managers, buyers and directors

- Degree in engineering, technical sales or related discipline
- Experience in B2B sales

- Travel to partner facilities in Italy

- Develop a strong sales pipeline across your region
- Close your first capital project
- Build long-term relationships with at least 20 active accounts

Salary & Benefits
