The TGW Retrofit team are looking for an experienced controls engineer to join the department as a Lead Commissioning Engineer. You will be working closely with the controls project manager to develop and provide control system functions for retrofit projects. These projects can range in value up to a few million pounds and really need an experienced controls engineer to take the reins and ensure the engineering is completed on time and to spec. You'll be working on roles across Northern Europe and will likely enjoy the rush of working on multiple smaller projects vs one large one at a time.
What you'll be handling:
- To understand design requirements and undertake mathematical analysis where necessary to produce concept designs for materials handling machines.
- This process will involve collaboration with other departments within the business such as Sales, LTS, Realisation and System Integration Management Teams.
- To work with systems and hardware design teams, to produce functional electro-mechanical layouts and electrical panels. These designs may require the introduction of new technologies.
- As a key member of a small team, we need to be diverse in our job functions.
- There will be opportunities to carry out SYEC work and HWEC work.
