As the Resident Engineer on our customer Weetabix's site you will maintain all TGW products and third party equipment inclusive of planned maintenance and breakdowns. You will contribute to strategies and support all continuous improvement activities that underpin site performance.
You'll be joining a maintenance team of 7 working a continental shift pattern: 4 on 2 off - 3 on 2 off - 3 on 2 off - 4 on then 8 days off. This is Days and Nights, 12 hour shifts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING
- Support to delivery of the contracted KPIs
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification
- Reactive and preventative maintenance of TGW and third party products installed on site
- Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency ensuring that the customers orders are not missed
- Attend customer meetings providing any updates on the automation
- Suggest any continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliability of TGW and third party assets on site
- Actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW supplied equipment and software
- Co-ordinate planned preventive maintenance activities with the customer
- Mentor, train and advise at all levels on engineering practices
- Co-ordination of any automation breakdowns and escalations
- Comply to all current, future health and safety legislation at all times
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Minimum NVQ level 3/BTEC ONC/HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Previous Experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
- Proficient communication skills and customer focused
- Ability to work in a time critical environment
- Able to work flexible shift patterns
- Demonstrated ability for solving problems
- Preferred experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems
