We are looking for a Content Creator to support the production, distribution, and promotion of high‑quality editorial and marketing content across TGS 4C. This is an entry‑level role, ideal for a strong writer at the start of their career who is keen to develop editorial, digital, and content production skills within a specialist B2B and industry‑focused environment. You will work closely with analysts, researchers, and senior colleagues, learning how to translate complex industry insight into clear, accurate, and engaging content for a professional audience. The role plays a key part in delivering timely industry news, supporting thought leadership, and extending the reach of analysis across written, social, video, and audio channels.

What you’ll be doing

  • Editorial & news content
    • Researching, drafting, and editing industry news articles covering offshore wind, subsea power cables, and related supply chains
    • Working with internal analysts and subject‑matter experts to turn insights, data, and briefings into publishable content
    • Publishing content via company websites and affiliated platforms using a CMS
    • Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency with editorial tone and style guidelines
  • Content repurposing & distribution
    • Adapting news and insight content for use across digital channels, particularly LinkedIn
    • Supporting the scheduling and formatting of posts to maximise clarity and reach
    • Helping maintain a clear distinction between editorial news and marketing‑led content
  • Social media support (primarily LinkedIn)
    • Assisting with drafting and editing LinkedIn copy aligned to articles, videos, and insights
    • Supporting ongoing improvement of post structure, tone, and consistency
    • Monitoring basic performance indicators and sharing feedback to inform future content
  • Video, podcast & media support
    • Assisting with video descriptions, titles, thumbnails, and timestamps
    • Supporting the repurposing of longer videos into short clips where required
    • Assisting with podcast coordination, including scheduling, episode descriptions, show notes, and promotion
    • Supporting distribution of video and podcast content across owned channels
  • Collaboration & development
    • Working closely with research, analysis, marketing, and digital teams
    • Being open to feedback, editing, and iteration as part of skill development
    • Gradually taking on greater responsibility as experience and confidence grow

What we’re looking for

  • Essential
    • Strong written communication skills with attention to structure, clarity, and accuracy
    • Ability to adapt writing style for different formats and audiences
    • Interest in news, current affairs, or specialist industry content
    • Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
    • Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast‑paced environment
  • Qualifications
    • A‑level English or another A‑level with a strong written and analytical focus (e.g. History, Politics, Geography or similar)
    • Degree‑level study completed or near completion in a relevant subject (e.g. humanities, social sciences, journalism, communications, marketing or similar)
    • Writing samples required as part of the application or interview process (academic, journalistic, or professional examples accepted)
  • Desirable (but Not Essential)
    • Interest in offshore wind, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
    • Familiarity with CMS platforms, LinkedIn, or basic analytics tools
    • Experience contributing to student publications, blogs, newsletters, or similar

Role development

This role is designed to grow over time. With experience, the Content Creator may progress towards greater ownership of content streams, deeper editorial responsibility, and broader involvement in digital and media activity.
