We are partnered with an MEP Design and Build company who operate in data centres and the mission critical sectors for several decades. Due to an ongoing project they are seeking a Senior M&E Project Manager on a 3 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical and electrical aspects of project delivery, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Review and fully understand all project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Prepare, manage, and track technical submittals through to approval.
- Maintain labour tracking and resource allocation across the project.
- Produce weekly progress reports, managing updates, variations, and change control.
- Liaise with main contractors and client-side site teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Oversee coordination and delivery of plant, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure materials are planned, ordered, and available to support programme requirements.
- Develop and implement construction and commissioning programmes, including onsite execution.
- Manage handover documentation and maintain document control systems.
- Develop and maintain project-specific schedules.
- Attend subcontractor meetings to ensure programme adherence and delivery targets are met.
- Participate in site meetings and ensure actions are tracked and closed out.
- Identify and communicate innovative or project-specific solutions to senior management for review.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Mechanical & Electrical project management within construction or infrastructure environments.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale M&E projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams including Project Managers, Site Managers, and Supervisors.
- Qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
