What you’ll be doing:
- Leading fibre and structured cabling project delivery across mission-critical environments
- Acting as the primary interface between clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
- Ensuring health & safety compliance across all activities, promoting a strong safety-first culture
- Supporting pre-construction planning, installation methodology, and commercial review
- Managing subcontractor performance and resolving delivery challenges as they arise
- Providing regular internal and client-facing project reports using standardised tools and templates
- Overseeing scheduling, documentation, variation management, and risk registers
- Working closely with commercial and procurement teams to support profitable delivery
- Offering leadership and guidance to project teams on-site, ensuring clarity and accountability
- Championing continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience managing fibre/connectivity projects (ideally in data centres or critical environments)
- Strong understanding of structured cabling, optical fibre, and related technologies
- Experience leading teams and coordinating subcontractors across multi-site or EMEA projects
- Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project tools
- Commercial awareness, including cost control and contract variation handling
- Flexibility to travel as required
Nice to have (not essential):
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2)
- CDCPM or relevant data centre credentials
- Experience delivering AI-ready data centres
- HSE/Site management cards
- Technical background in engineering, M&E, or telecoms
- Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or end clients in data centre environments
