The Company

Our client is a leading technology infrastructure and data centre solutions provider delivering complex projects across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their London-based team.

The Role

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Quality Manager will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining quality standards across technology infrastructure and data centre projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and internal quality management systems while driving continuous improvement throughout project delivery. Working closely with Project Directors, Operations Managers, PMO teams, clients, and subcontractors, you will champion a culture of quality and operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and relevant industry standards.
  • Plan and conduct project audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
  • Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventative measures.
  • Monitor quality-related project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Analyse audit findings and project performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain quality documentation, reports, and compliance records.
  • Deliver quality training and support to project and operational teams.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are achieved.
  • Support pre-construction and bid teams by identifying and mitigating quality risks.
  • Provide regular quality performance reporting to senior management.
  • Promote best practice and a quality-first culture across all project activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Quality Manager, QA/QC Manager, or similar position.
  • Strong background within Data Centres, ICT, Structured Cabling, Telecommunications Infrastructure, or Critical Facilities environments.
  • Experience supporting quality delivery on large-scale or Hyperscale Data Centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and managing corrective actions.
  • Excellent understanding of technical specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence project teams and drive quality improvements.
  • Working knowledge of PRINCE2 or similar project management methodologies is desirable.
