Structured Cabling Project Manager – Data Centers

Berkshire £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

Telecommunications / Data Centre Infrastructure

Oversee the end-to-end management of structured cabling projects within data center environments, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the highest quality standards. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives. Conduct site surveys, develop project scopes, and manage on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate project documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure installations meet industry standards and client specifications.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in structured cabling project management, preferably within data center environments.
  • Certifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in copper cabling (Cat5/Cat6) and fibre optic installations.
  • Standards Familiarity: Understanding of structured cabling standards and industry best practices.
