We’re working with a specialist contractor delivering MEP packages into data centre environments across the UK and Europe. They’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team, supporting delivery from tender through to final account across technically complex projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the full commercial lifecycle of MEP packages (£1m–£50m+)
- Working closely with project teams to manage cost, risk, and contract performance
- Procuring subcontractors and managing tenders, negotiations, and appointments
- Handling valuations, variations, and change control
- Producing cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts
- Supporting commercial strategy and mentoring junior QSs where needed
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and supply chain
What you’ll need:
- ~5–10 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying (MEP-focused)
- ~Experience on data centres or other mission-critical projects (pharma, healthcare etc.)
- ~Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- ~Solid procurement and subcontract management experience
- ~Able to manage multiple packages in a fast-paced environment
- ~Willingness to travel to sites where required
