Our rapidly expanding infrastructure services company is looking for Data Center Cabling Engineers to join our energetic, growing team. If you take pride in high-quality installation work and have a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you.
The Role
This is a field-based position, travelling between client sites in and around London. You will be responsible for delivering high-standard fibre and copper cabling services across data centres.
Your Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test fibre (single & multi-mode) and copper (Cat5e/6/6a) cabling
- Complete patching, labelling, and documentation to professional standards
- Perform rack & stack installing servers, switches, PDUs, cabinets, and hardware
- Work confidently with conduit, trunking, tray, ladder rack, and all containment systems
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and troubleshooting as required
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality installations
- Represent the company professionally while travelling from job to job
Experience Required
- Proven experience working in multiple data center environments
- Strong fibre & copper installation, termination, and testing experience
- Familiarity with Fluke or similar certification equipment
- Experience with structured cabling standards and containment systems
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Must hold a full UK driving Licence
- Overtime available for evening/weekend work when required
