We are seeking a skilled Security Installation Engineer to join our growing team, responsible for delivering high-quality security systems installations within data centre environments. The role requires hands-on experience with CCTV systems, access control, and integrated security solutions, with a strong understanding of data centre protocols and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test CCTV systems (IP & analogue) and Access Control systems (e.g. Lenel, C•CURE, Gallagher, Genetec, or similar).
- Ensure all installations comply with data centre security requirements and project specifications.
- Perform cabling, termination, device mounting, and system commissioning to a high standard.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades to coordinate installation activities.
- Conduct system handovers, including client demonstrations and training where required.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all works carried out (as-builts, commissioning reports, etc.).
- Adhere to all health & safety policies and risk assessments while working on-site.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during and post-installation.
- Travel to different data centre locations as required.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in the installation of CCTV and Access Control systems.
- Previous work within data centres or high-security environments.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure relating to security systems.
- Familiarity with industry-standard brands and platforms (e.g., Axis, Avigilon, HID, Lenel, C•CURE, Genetec).
- Valid ECS/CSCS card or equivalent.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe working practices on construction/technical sites.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
