Are you an experienced cabling technician who thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys working across multiple sites? Our rapidly expanding infrastructure services company is looking for a Data Center & Office Cabling Technician to join our energetic, growing team. The Role
This is a field‑based position, travelling between client sites in and around London. You will be responsible for delivering high‑standard fibre and copper cabling services across both data centres and office environments.
Your Responsibilities
- Install, terminate and test fibre (single‑mode & multi‑mode) and copper (Cat5e/6/6a) cabling
- Complete patching, labelling and documentation to professional standards
- Perform rack & stack: installing servers, switches, PDUs, cabinets and hardware
- Work confidently with conduit, trunking, tray, ladder rack and all containment systems
- Conduct site visits, surveys and troubleshooting as required
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality installations
- Represent the company professionally while travelling from job to job
Experience Required
- Proven experience working in multiple data centre environments
- Strong fibre & copper installation, termination and testing experience
- Familiarity with Fluke or similar certification equipment
- Experience with structured cabling standards and containment systems
- Comfortable working independently in a field‑based role
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
Working Hours
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm. Overtime available for evening/weekend work when required.
