An opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled Data Centre Engineer to join a highly regarded organisation in Hertfordshire. You will be part of a small, dedicated team delivering Data Centre services for a prestigious international financial client. This role operates on a rotating shift pattern: 4 days on → 4 days off → 4 nights on → 4 nights off (24/7 coverage).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and adhere to change control processes
  • Manage and resolve incidents promptly and effectively
  • Track and manage Data Centre assets
  • Supervise and escort third-party vendors on-site
  • Plan, install, and decommission IT hardware in accordance with strict Data Centre standards
  • Install and remove structured cabling and networking equipment
  • Maintain and update all relevant documentation and asset inventories
  • Fulfil service requests within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Adhere to internal and client Health and Safety policies
