A specialist engineering and technology services provider is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join its on-site delivery team based in London working on commercial, workspace and office spaces.
The role involves supporting the installation, maintenance, and ongoing development of smart building technologies consisting of cabling systems, VOIP, Audio-visual, CCTV and access control across projects around London. You will work within a technical team delivering integrated infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on network cabling and smart systems deployment.
While the core requirement is strong competency in copper and fibre network infrastructure installation, the role also offers exposure and development across a range of smart technologies including audio-visual systems, electronic security, IoT solutions, and wired/wireless/mobile networks.
Responsibilities- Install, support, and maintain structured copper and fibre network infrastructure
- Assist in the deployment of smart building technologies including AV, electronic security, IoT, and network systems
- Work across wired, wireless, and mobile network environments
- Deliver installation and maintenance work to project timelines and budget requirements
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety standards and site regulations
- Interpret customer and project requirements accurately and deliver technical solutions accordingly
- Provide high levels of customer service within a live operational environment
- Support the delivery of integrated technology projects across a large estate
