The organisation specialises in delivering end-to-end infrastructure and connectivity solutions, supporting clients from initial design through to deployment and ongoing optimisation.

This opportunity is aimed at individuals with experience in structured cabling or ICT delivery roles who are looking to transition into a design and commercial consultancy career. Suitable backgrounds may include site supervision, project coordination, or hands-on installation and delivery roles.
This position forms part of a structured development programme (approximately 6–12 months) designed to build capability in both technical design and commercial estimation. The successful candidate will gradually progress from a delivery-focused background into an autonomous Design & Estimation role, with clear progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Training & Development (Primary Focus)
- Participate in a structured internal development programme covering technical and commercial disciplines
- Complete manufacturer-led, external, and industry-recognised training modules where required
- Maintain training logs, evidence portfolios, and competency records
- Engage in self-directed study alongside formal learning sessions
- Attend regular performance reviews and development checkpoints
- Build knowledge across design principles, costing, and infrastructure solutions
- Pre-Sales Support (Supervised Activity)
- Assist senior design staff with site surveys and solution development
- Support preparation of cost estimates, material schedules, and labour breakdowns
- Contribute to technical documentation including assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications
- Work with tools such as spreadsheets, drawing software, and documentation platforms
- Help prepare tender submissions and handover packs for projects
- Ensure all outputs meet internal governance and quality expectations
- Post-Sales / Delivery Support (Supervised Activity)
- Support on-site technical design coordination during live project delivery
- Assist with production and updates of drawings including layouts, containment routes, and equipment positioning
- Contribute to as-built documentation and progress tracking records
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and other contractors
- Assist in testing, validation, and commissioning documentation processes
- Develop understanding of site safety requirements and design risk considerations
- Essential Requirements
- Interest in technical design, infrastructure systems, or engineering environments
- Willingness to learn both technical and commercial aspects of project delivery
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Competent use of standard office software (especially Word and Excel)
- Professional and proactive working approach
- Some prior exposure to structured cabling or ICT environments
- Basic understanding of structured cabling concepts
