Executive Personal Assistant to Founder
Location: Harlow, Essex
Full-Time, UK-Based - Competitive Base + Performance Incentives.
This isn't a traditional PA role. You'll work directly alongside the founder of TGS International Group, a specialist technical recruitment firm operating across the UK, Europe, APAC, the Nordics, and the Americas, and a growing portfolio of businesses across recruitment, data infrastructure, and digital education.
The pace is relentless. The standards are high. The decisions being made around you are real, significant, and happening fast. Your role is demanding in practice and simple in principle: protect the founder's time, extend his reach, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Executive Operations: Full diary management built around output, not convenience. Inbox management and correspondence handled on behalf of the founder. Travel, logistics, and multi-business coordination. Acting as gatekeeper — knowing what reaches him and what doesn't, and owning that judgement call.
- Content and Personal Brand: Supporting a LinkedIn presence and personal brand being built to a high standard. Coordinating content schedules and filming. Repurposing long-form content into clips, posts, and emails. The founder's public profile is part of the business. You help maintain it at the level it deserves.
- Business Support: Tracking projects, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple ventures simultaneously. Liaising with internal teams and external partners. Building structure and process in an environment that moves fast and does not slow down for administration.
- Communication and Relationships: First point of contact for clients, partners, and key stakeholders across multiple businesses. You represent the founder. How you show up reflects how he shows up.
WHO YOU ARE
- You don't need to be told twice. You spot problems before they land. You follow through completely, communicate clearly, and take ownership without being chased.
- You are commercially minded. You understand that this role exists to drive results, not manage tasks.
- You are also discreet. What moves through this role stays in this role.
You will have:
- Proven experience supporting a senior leader, founder, or entrepreneur at pace — not just in a corporate support function.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with zero tolerance for things slipping through.
- The ability to manage up — to push back, reprioritise, and protect time even when that requires difficult conversations.
- Composure when plans change, and they will change.
Advantageous:
- Background in recruitment, sales, or a fast-growth environment.
- Experience supporting content creation or personal brand management.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, CRM systems, or automation platforms.
WHAT THIS ROLE GIVES YOU
Most PA roles put you in a support function. This one puts you at the centre of how a founder-led business operates at pace and at scale. In six months you will have been exposed to more genuine commercial decision-making, client relationships, business development, and operational complexity than most roles offer in three years. That is not a line. That is what working at this level actually looks like.
You will also receive real performance-based rewards tied directly to output — not tenure, not appraisal cycles, output. And there is a genuine pathway into senior operations or business management for the right person. This business is growing and it rewards the people who grow with it.
One final thing. If you want a quiet inbox and a predictable week, this is the wrong role. If you want to operate at the highest level alongside someone building something significant... apply. Send your CV and two or three lines on why this role is the right move for you right now.
