Electrical Site Manager
Location: Leeds, England, United Kingdom
Job Description
In this role, you would be responsible for managing all site elements of the project for a leading M&E contracting organisation, while ensuring full project deliverables are achieved.
What you would do:
- Oversee on-site delivery and ensure compliance with EHSQ, toolbox talks, RAMS, PPE requirements, etc.
- Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
- Coordinate on-site plant hire, tools, and labour.
- Direct and train apprentices to manage deliveries and daily checks.
- Oversee and manage labour, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Support execution of commissioning and project close-out plans.
- Ensure completion and close-out of snag lists.
- Manage and report on labour tracking.
- Attend internal project planning meetings.
- Manage relevant external correspondence.
- Order all day-to-day site materials.
- Update required information for progress reports.
- Maintain the companyβs document management system.
- Support project-specific scheduling.
- Communicate changes to the project team.
- Produce and monitor project quality reports.
- Oversee testing certification and handover.
- Comply with all company EHSQ policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Qualified Electrician
- Previous experience in a Site Manager or similar role
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Experience managing and leading teams
- Project management experience beneficial
- Computer literate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Up-to-date manual handling & safe pass
