We’re working with a growing specialist business delivering data centre services across the UK, supporting projects across IT relocations, hardware installations, structured cabling, and critical infrastructure upgrades.
They’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the delivery team, taking ownership of data centre migration projects, structured cabling installations, and hardware deployment projects from initial scope through to final delivery.
- Managing data centre migration and structured cabling projects from inception through to handover
- Carrying out site visits, surveys, and scoping meetings to define client requirements
- Designing and estimating structured cabling solutions across data centre and commercial environments
- Producing design packages, patching schedules, and cable connectivity schematics
- Managing project delivery plans, timelines, and internal reporting
- Overseeing internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and supplier relationships
- Acting as a quality control point for structured cabling installations, ensuring best practice and industry standards are met
- Supporting project delivery across multiple client sites, predominantly across the South of the UK
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in structured cabling design and installation
Strong experience across both copper and fibre installations within data centre and commercial environments
Strong knowledge of installation standards, testing procedures, and manufacturer best practice
Experience producing design documentation and using tools such as Microsoft Visio and MS Office
Previous data centre migration experience would be a major advantage
Competitive basic salary with optional overtime available
