Job Summary: As Head of Department, you will be responsible for leading a core operational or commercial function within the organisation, ensuring consistent delivery performance, commercial growth, and team effectiveness across your area of responsibility. You will oversee multiple teams and functions, ensuring alignment between business strategy, client requirements, and operational execution. This role requires strong leadership capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments. Key Responsibilities:

People Management:

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as senior point of contact for key clients and strategic accounts

- Represent the business in senior operational and commercial discussions
Commercial & Business Growth:
- Support revenue growth through service expansion and account development

Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards

- Support audit and compliance requirements where applicable
Knowledge Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IT services, infrastructure delivery, or data centre environments
- Knowledge of operational service management frameworks (ITIL or equivalent)
- Understanding of commercial contract delivery and SLA management
- Awareness of enterprise IT lifecycle services (deploy, manage, change, decommission)
- Understanding of workforce planning and operational scaling models

- Proven experience managing client-facing delivery environments
- Strong background in service delivery, operations, or commercial management

- Background working with channel partners, MSPs, or enterprise clients
