We are looking to recruit a Shunter Van Driver., who will be basedonsite at Fishponds. The hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm, salary £13.45 per hour.

A full UK driving license is required with a maximum of 3 penalty points for insurance purposes.

Please note this role DOES NOT involve any HGV class 1 or 2 driving.

Purpose

To facilitate the efficient receipt, inspection, storage and delivery of vehicles and goods onsite at TGS, including handling of associated paperwork.

Duties

  • coordinate onsite vehicle bay movements.
  • check in/out vans carefully recording and notifying any shortages or damage to relevant dept.
  • storage of vehicles, paperwork and keys and goods safely and correctly.
  • occasional transportation of vans to Avonmouth Bristol.
  • maintenance of excellent relations with customers and their staff.
  • completion of company vehicle checks as instructed.
  • conduct regular checks on all vehicles to ensure they meet the necessary safety and compliance standards.

If a vehicle or trailer is not compliant defect to the workshop for repairs or maintenance.
