The Opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated graduate or early‑career professional to join our commercial team, supporting business development across the Asia‑Pacific (APAC) region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in international sales within a fast‑growing, global industry. You’ll gain hands‑on experience working with clients across APAC, while developing core sales, communication and commercial skills.

Due to our focus on APAC markets, this role operates on early core hours (typically 6:00am – 2:00pm UK time, or equivalent locally in Oslo). You’ll be supported through structured training, mentoring and on‑the‑job learning, with a clear pathway into a fully developed Sales Executive role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Learn to support the development of new business opportunities across APAC markets
  • Research companies and build target client lists within offshore wind and related energy sectors
  • Develop an understanding of market potential and identify high‑value prospects
  • Support the team in building relationships with international clients and stakeholders
  • Represent TGS | 4C at events, webinars and industry forums (where appropriate)
  • Support sales calls, video meetings and client presentations
  • Help prepare proposals, pricing and client‑facing materials
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity within CRM systems
  • Work closely with senior sales and consulting teams to progress opportunities
  • Contribute to team sales targets and pipeline growth over time

Learning & Development

  • Build knowledge of offshore wind markets and global energy trends
  • Learn key sales skills including prospecting, negotiation and closing
  • Develop commercial awareness across international markets, particularly APAC
  • Receive ongoing coaching and support from experienced sales professionals

In your first 6–12 months, you will:

  • Build confidence in engaging with international clients
  • Develop a strong understanding of offshore wind and APAC markets
  • Contribute meaningfully to sales opportunities and pipeline development
  • Establish a solid foundation in core sales skills

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong potential and a genuine interest in building a career in sales:

  • Recent graduate (or 1–2 years’ experience) in business, economics, marketing, energy or a related field
  • Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with new people
  • Interested in international business and global markets
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, motivated and eager to learn
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fluent in at least one Asian language (Chinese, Japanese or Korean preferred)
  • Comfortable using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems

Location: UK (Norwich, Weybridge or Frome – hybrid working) or Oslo, Norway

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Hours: Core hours aligned to APAC markets (typically 6:00am – 2:00pm UK time, or equivalent in Oslo)
