In this unique dual-role opportunity as Finance Director for Europe, you will lead and transform our European finance function while also acting as the senior commercial finance partner to our Global Technology & Media division. Working alongside our CFO and Executive Team, you will influence major commercial decisions spanning Europe and one of the fastest-growing areas of our business. TGI Sport is on an ambitious transformation journey. Through our One TGI programme, we are bringing together multiple businesses, geographies and finance teams into one globally connected organisation.

You will lead the transformation of our European finance organisation, creating a commercially focused, high-performing function that enables growth across an increasingly technology-led business. At the same time, you will partner with senior leaders to shape investment decisions across AI, technology platforms, media rights, product development and international expansion.

Responsibilities & Role

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting and reporting across our European businesses, providing commercial insight to the CFO and Executive Team.
  • Act as the senior finance partner for our Global Technology & Media division (excluding the US), supporting investment decisions across technology platforms, AI, product development, media rights and future growth.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and influence strategic decision-making.
  • Lead, develop and inspire our UK based European Finance teams, creating a commercially focused, high-performing function.
  • Play a key role in transforming the finance operating model as part of our wider One TGI programme, helping shape the future structure of the finance organisation.
  • Champion automation, AI and smarter reporting to modernise how finance supports the wider business.
  • Ensure strong financial governance, compliance and controls across multiple international entities.

What you'll bring

Essential

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Significant experience leading finance business partnering within a complex commercial organisation.
  • Experience supporting technology, SaaS, media, advertising, digital or subscription-based business models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence, challenge and support Executive-level stakeholders.
  • Outstanding financial planning, forecasting and commercial modelling skills.
  • A track record of leading high-performing finance teams through periods of transformation and change.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and financial governance.

Desirable

  • Experience working across international or multi-entity organisations.
  • Experience leading finance transformation, shared services, operating model redesign or automation initiatives.
  • Exposure to AI, finance systems transformation or business process improvement.
  • An interest in sport, media or sports technology.
