Looking for a finance role that offers more than the same month-end routine?
At TGI Sport, we’re bringing together businesses, people and processes across the world of sport, media and technology. With an established international presence and plenty of change underway, we have an opportunity for a Group Financial Accountant who enjoys variety, welcomes a challenge and wants to make a real difference.
You’ll play an important role in bringing together financial reporting from across our global operations, working with international finance teams to ensure our numbers tell an accurate and meaningful story. You’ll build relationships across the business, challenge how things are done and help us find smarter, more effective ways of working.
And we don’t believe in limiting people to one corner of Finance. You’ll have the opportunity to gain exposure to different areas of the Group, get involved in new projects and broaden your experience as the business evolves.
If you’re a curious, confident accountant who enjoys working with people as much as numbers, this could be a great next step.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Take ownership of key elements of the Group’s month-end close, working with international finance teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations across our international entities.
- Prepare consolidated financial reporting, including monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
- Review financial information from subsidiaries, identifying discrepancies and working collaboratively with local teams to resolve issues and improve reporting quality.
- Maintain key Group balance sheet schedules, including fixed assets, goodwill, intangibles, investments and deferred tax.
- Prepare financial reports and commentaries that help senior leaders understand business performance.
- Support statutory accounts preparation and Group audits, including reviewing subsidiary accounts and reconciling different accounting standards.
- Help improve the efficiency and consistency of Group reporting, including maintaining our chart of accounts across NetSuite and Adaptive.
- Get involved in wider finance projects and initiatives as we continue to evolve our international operations.
What You’ll Bring

- Experience working with general ledger systems and global financial reporting processes.

- Excellent attention to detail with the confidence and interpersonal skills to challenge inaccuracies, provide constructive feedback and work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve the quality of financial reporting.
Desirable
- An interest in sport.
- Exposure to international accounting standards and multi-currency environments.
- Experience within a private equity-backed business.
- Experience within the sports, media or technology industries.
