Are you passionate about delivering world‑class golf experiences while leading a high‑performing team? We are looking for a dynamic and driven Assistant Academy Manager to help shape the future of our renowned Golf Academy at The Celtic Collection.
About the Role
As Assistant Academy Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the operational and commercial success of our Golf & Retail Operation. You’ll oversee the day‑to‑day running of our state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including:
- Toptracer Driving Range
- PGA Teaching Studios
- VIP Room
- Driving Range Outfield
You’ll also support the delivery of PGA tuition, ensure exceptional guest engagement, and champion standards across all Academy areas.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the Academy team to deliver outstanding guest service and a five‑star golf experience.
- Supporting coaching delivery with PGA professionals, ensuring top‑quality tuition for residents, members and visitors.
- Driving commercial performance across the Academy, including retail, custom fitting, Toptracer revenue and teaching programmes.
- Ensuring immaculate presentation and safe operation of all teaching facilities, equipment and systems.
- Developing innovative teaching packages, junior programmes, corporate clinics and seasonal offerings.
- Monitoring stock, supporting monthly stocktakes and maximising retail sales opportunities.
- Supporting rota planning to optimise staffing levels and efficiency.
- Working closely with Golf & Retail leaders to enhance membership engagement and promote all Academy services.
About You
- Experience leading a team in a retail and/or driving range environment.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience delivering golf tuition (PGA qualified desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and golf‑specific systems (e.g. Concept).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a passion for outstanding service.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to support business needs, including weekends and peak periods.
