TGI Golf is looking for an organised and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, teamwork and delivering high standards. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and central invoicing
  • Purchase ledger input and uploads
  • Bank reconciliations across various GBP and EUR accounts
  • Debtor management, including sending statements and chasing payments when required
  • Processing credit card expenses, including data input from receipts and VAT calculations
  • Preparation of prepayments and accruals
  • Journal postings to the nominal ledger
  • Processing BACS collections and supplier payments twice monthly
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supporting the finance team with general accounting administration as required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
  • Familiarity with automated debit and credit entry systems such as Sage
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Confident communication skills with a professional and personable approach
  • Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail
