Role: Brand Marketing Manager
Location: Remote working with regular travel to stores around the UK but with a focus on Midlands / Birmingham/ London and Home Counties.
The Brand Marketing Manager is a critical role in the marketing team and reports to the Head of Brand Marketing. They are responsible for managing the brand across all marketing touchpoints, including campaign planning & development, developing brand content and experiences, and managing the PR plan. This role will principally support TGI Fridays but additionally Byron Burger and Mother Clucker brands.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing the brand communications plan ensuring the brand is continually visible in a variety of media, to grow awareness and credibility including core promotional plan, seasonal events, brand stories and limited edition product launches and menus.
- Managing the PR Agency and annual plan to help deliver high impact brand and PR campaigns to build brand perception and reach.
- Managing creative agency, briefing in campaigns and governance of deliverables for the team and brand requirements.
- Leading monthly and quarterly meetings with agencies to review brand performance across key brand KPI metrics.
- Keeping abreast of market trends and insights and sharing highlights with the wider team and business.
- Planning and managing all photoshoots/videography ensuring we have sufficient content for all platforms POS, Digital and Social.
- Working in collaboration with Procurement to create branded opportunities with suppliers like Coke or Bacardi to raise supplier funding and consumer relevant experiences that drive sales.
- Building on existing partnerships portfolio to reach new and relevant audiences to grow brand awareness e.g. Merlin, Disney.
- Marketing management of menu design for food, drink and seasonal menus from strategy through to creative sign off.
- Managing content and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across the wider business (brand docs, templates, delivery imagery etc).
- Managing creative campaigns and assets to produce impactful and on-brand campaigns.
- Managing local marketing plans supporting the marketing executive with the local marketing tool kit and activations.
- Management of brand social plan including LinkedIn and working in collaboration with digital team on social and influencer strategy and plan for TikTok and Meta.
- Management of Asset Library ensuring content is available for all platforms to support the brand calendar.
The Person
- A minimum of 8 years marketing experience in brand marketing roles ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of PR.
- Track record of developing and delivering communication strategies and campaign execution, with responsibility for comprehensive campaign plan.
- Content development and experience of running photoshoots.
- Social media and influencer experience.
- Experience of managing agencies including Brand, PR and Creative.
- Ability to present compelling case studies for investment in the brand.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for developing relationships with media representatives, handling challenging situations and advising senior leaders.
- Able to work flexibly to support business needs such as willingness to travel, attending evening events, socialising and networking with journalists, and being on call in the event of any crisis situations.
- Passion and experience within casual dining sector a preference.
