Step Into the Spotlight: Become a Fridays Duty Manager

This Isn’t a Job. It’s a Stage. And You’re About to Steal the Show.

You’ve seen the stripes. You’ve felt the buzz. You know the name.

Since 1965, TGI Fridays has defined flair, flavour, and freedom. From the clatter of cocktail shakers to the energy of clinking glasses beneath neon lights, we’ve been part of the cultural conversation for decades.

We invented the Long Island Iced Tea. We gave the world Loaded Potato Skins. We turned bartending into a performance.

At Fridays, every shift is a celebration — and now, we’re casting for a Duty Manager to help lead the show.

Your Role: Director of the Experience

As a Duty Manager, you’re the person who keeps the performance flowing — the link between team, guests, and the magic of the Fridays experience. You lead with presence, poise, and positivity, ensuring every shift delivers energy, excellence, and unforgettable moments.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Inspiring and guiding team members to deliver vibrant, high-quality service
  • Supporting and overseeing all aspects of restaurant, kitchen, and bar operations
  • Maintaining strong performance across People, Guest Experience, Sales, and Safety
  • Upholding impeccable standards — because every shift is showtime

Your Toolkit: Craft Meets Character

We’re not looking for background extras — we want leading characters who bring confidence and commitment.

  • Experience managing or supervising in hospitality or retail is a strong advantage
  • A natural passion for food, drink, and guest experience
  • Ability to energise a team and make fast, confident decisions
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Calm under pressure with a sense of humour to match
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends — when the atmosphere is electric

Your Backstage Perks

  • Time and a half pay for hours worked over 48 per week
  • Weekly pay — every Friday
  • Flexible shift patterns to support work-life balance
  • Fast-track development opportunities and apprenticeships
  • Celebratory team events including the 4th of July and Thanksgiving
  • 50% discount on food for you and up to five guests
  • Unlimited soft drinks while on shift
  • Incentives, rewards, long service recognition, and team appreciation programmes
  • Wagestream access to monitor and manage your pay in real-time
  • Refer-a-Friend bonus scheme
  • Membership with Hospitality Action for wellbeing support
  • 28 days paid holiday (pro-rata)
  • Clear and exciting progression opportunities to grow within the brand

Who We Are

We’re proud to celebrate every stripe — whatever makes you, you.

Diversity and inclusion are at the core of Fridays. Through our “Pridays” forum and inclusive programmes, we support LGBTQ+ rights, gender equity, accessibility, and individuality. At Fridays, you don’t have to fit in — you simply need to belong.

“No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else.” – P.T. Barnum
