A well-known, growing, general contractor specializing in commercial and government projects, is looking to add a Project Manager to step in and take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout.
What You’ll Do
- Manage commercial, state, and federal construction projects from start to finish
- Oversee 1–3 projects at a time
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including milestone tracking and lookaheads
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting
- Lead subcontractor buyout, negotiations, and coordination
- Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation
- Partner with estimators and leadership during bidding and preconstruction
- Conduct site visits across NYS and the Northeast to monitor progress and quality
- Ensure compliance with safety, permits, and regulatory requirements
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders

- 3+ years of construction project management experience
- Degree in Construction Management/Engineering or hands-on (homegrown) experience
- Strong skills in organization, budgeting, and problem-solving
- Confident communicator with solid team collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently
