A well‑known, growing, general contractor specializing in commercial and government projects, is looking to add a Project Manager to step in and take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage commercial, state, and federal construction projects from start to finish
  • Oversee 1–3 projects at a time
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including milestone tracking and lookaheads
  • Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, negotiations, and coordination
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation
  • Partner with estimators and leadership during bidding and preconstruction
  • Conduct site visits across NYS and the Northeast to monitor progress and quality
  • Ensure compliance with safety, permits, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
